Rupertswood are hungry for success both on and off the field in 2025. After an early finish to the 2024 season, the development of the playing list began with football craft sessions in October, and then an expertly led pre-season from November to end of February by Loris Bertolacci, our Strength and Conditioning coach with 19 seasons involved at the AFL professional level.

The playing list has been bolstered with the return of a number of Rupo juniors, and the team will have a good mix of height and speed, fitness and skills. Above all, the boys want to be the number one contested possession team in the competition. The team that can win the ball wins the match! A renewed game style has been introduced for 2025 and expect to see plenty of numbers getting behind the ball and attacking with flair and rapid movement.

The culture the team has built is very inclusive with a strong focus on acceptance, connection and community. Commitment, growth, and faith in each other will be hall marks of the way the club plays with the aim of playing finals across both grades of football.

Get involved…as a player, a volunteer, or as a supporter or member. Training nights from April to September are Tuesday and Thursday nights at 6pm. Come down and take a look at how we go about things or join us for a run on the track.

Rupertswood are playing in Division 2 of the Essendon District Football League in 2025.
