Rupertswood FNC has moved quickly and is excited to announce the return of Brad Fox to the Club in the role of Senior Coach for at least the 2024 to 2026 seasons.
Brad was previously at Rupertswood as a coach and assistant coach for 12 years starting back in 2008 with our Auskick program right through to coaching our U15A side to a Premiership in 2019. His appointment reunites him with a number of those junior premiership players that have since debuted in our Senior team over the last 2 years.
Brad’s football experience includes 21 senior AFL games with Essendon and Richmond, and also an involvement with the Brisbane Lions in their Premiership 3-peat 2001-2003 as opposition scout/analyst for senior coach Leigh Matthews.

Profiles

SNR COACH TWO

At local level he has coached or assistant coached football for a total of 26 seasons including Premierships at Gisborne (3 x Senior, 1 x U18’s), Keilor (1 x Senior), and Rupertswood (2 x Juniors). Brad has also played in 6 Premierships including a hat-trick at Gisborne, and one with Keilor in the EDFL. With Skip’s decision to step down, it was fortunate for the Club to have someone with Brad’s experience available, so we moved quickly. As a committee, we have asked Brad to bring a strong development focus to support our young playing list. We have always produced terrific juniors at Rupertswood and we want to see as many as possible become 100-plus senior game players for the Club and build a culture of sustained success. Please join us in welcoming Brad Fox back to Rupertswood Football Club. Details about a Meet-the-Coach gathering for the players will be released shortly.
